Abstract: Pasteurella multocida is the etiological agent of haemorrhagic septicaemia, an acute and highly fatal septicemic disease of cattle, buffalos and many large ruminants. The P. multocida strain BAUTB2 is a Gram-negative bacterium isolated from a buffalo suffering from haemorrhagic septicemia in Rajshahi district, Bangladesh.
