Abstract: This project utilized genotyping-by-sequencing of three diploid rose populations from the Texas A&M University rose breeding program. The sequence data came from NgoMIV digested genomic DNA of 69, 83 and 82 individuals of each population and 5 parents. The purpose of the project was to generate thousands of SNP markers using strawberry genome as the reference and create a consensus map for the diploid materials we used.
