Abstract: Laboratory evolution experiments can be used to understand the rates and types of mutations in microbial genomes that contribute to adaptation. Here, we report the sequencing of additional clonal isolates from the long-term evolution experiment with E. coli that complete a dataset of 264 genomes covering all twelve populations spanning 50,000 generations and >25 years of bacterial evolution.
