Abstract: The genome of the horn fly, <i>Haematobia irritans</i> (L.), is being sequenced by the <a href="http://arsserv0.tamu.edu/PandP/locations/people.htm?slicetype=location&modecode=62-05-00-00&mt=people">Livestock Insects Research Laboratory, USDA-ARS</a>. The DNA source is a wild type strain collected from San Gabriel Research Farm in Louisiana.
